Brain development and teaching and learning
There is increased understanding from research into how the brain develops and mention of this is included in chapter one and other points throughout the book but there is a debate still about how exactly this impacts on teaching and learning. This is perhaps again even more pertinent to early childhood education and care as this is clearly one, if not the, most critical periods.
